My good friend and shipmate, Steven Apple, was kind enough to loan me his photo album. His photos were made from my slides and some of Rodger Goldberg's. This saved me a lot of extra work trying to scan my slides.

Bars and saloons are the main form
of entertainment in Nome.
Churches are in the minority.
